Launching Rockets

Lots of wind today, but I still managed five flights. It's a two-day event, so I'll be heading back out to the field tomorrow.

Big fun. Stories later.

You had some great flights this weekend,Ted.I especially liked the Vampyre and the "cheerleader" rocket. It was a great weekend for me too even if ol'Ted did thrash me twice in a row drag racing Zingers.I have to admit your Zinger really Zang!
Most all of my flights this weekend turned out great. That's not including the now infamous Aztec crash. My final analysis is that the ejection gasses simply blew the upper stage off faster than it could light.Vent holes are planned for the future.I've been pretty lucky so far in that none of my multi stagers have ever needed them.
As for this weekend it's too bad you won't be around,Ted.I hope to debute my newly done 18 mm Spaceship One.Plus, the Zinger that I broke Saturday will fly, too.I tried to repair it on the spot but the CA didn't dry fast enough so I just stashed it.After pulling it out and re-examining it I think the repair spot is now probably the strongest point on the fins.Given the chance of it being one flight only it's goin' up on a C.
The upcoming Battlepark launch is gonna be the real event for me flight-wise.I'll be flying my Lil' Nuke for the first time,my Really Really Mean Machine for the first time,my Forte' again for the first time since the rebuild on a G-64 plus I hope to do a D-C-C flight of my Commanche-3.There are several other projects I hope to have done in time for Culpeper, too.I plan on being there all three days.I don't know if you've seen it on the Colonial site or not but there are at least three M flights lined up for Friday plus one on Saturday.M motors rock!
Well anyhow it was great seein' ya again,Ted.Hope to see you in Culpeper.Oh and BTW what do you think of Hollywood Babylon?
