Cooking in Lingerie

Via YouTube. Not me, for those who were worried about that.

I haven't watched the video, but I can tell you, always wear clothes when frying bacon. ALWAYS. An apron just doesn't cut it.

Absolutely, and shoes too. Shorts are not enough protection. I once got a nastly burn down one leg and across my foot when some hot grease sloshed out of a skillet.

I use that pre-fab microwave bacon. The first type they came out with, you actually had to microwave it for 2.5 minutes (the 4 strips came embedded in their own microwaveable little piece of paper towel, even, which was cool.) But taptaptap who's got time for THAT crap?

So now they have improved it to where there's not even any "frying" in the MICROWAVE. That's right! You're only 30 seconds away from bacon at any given point in the day, and no paper towels to handle.

30 seconds away from bacon. Any time.

Talk about a gift to a suffering world.

Between me and my husband we've owned more MP3 players over the years than I can count, including Sansas, iRivers, iPods (classic & touch), the Ibiza Rhapsody, etc. But, the last few years I've settled down to one line of players. Why? Because I was happy to discover how well-designed and fun to use the underappreciated (and widely mocked) Zunes are.
